16 Days to the Throne Room of the Mountain Gods

K2 Base Camp & Concordia Trek

Trek the legendary Baltoro Glacier route to Concordia, where four of the world’s fourteen 8,000-meter peaks meet, and stand at the base of K2 — the world’s second-highest mountain. Full trekking crew, permits, and camping logistics included.

Duration: 16 Days / 15 Nights

Starting Point: Skardu, Askole, Baltoro Glacier, Concordia, K2 Base Camp

Is This Journey Right For You?

This is a serious, high-altitude trekking expedition — not a sightseeing tour. It demands a good level of fitness, multi-day camping experience or willingness to learn fast, and comfort with basic trail conditions for extended periods.

• You have trekking experience or solid cardiovascular fitness and want a genuine mountaineering-grade challenge
• You’re comfortable camping for 10+ consecutive nights at altitude
• Standing at K2 Base Camp is a bucket-list goal, not a casual add-on
• You can commit 16 full days, with limited connectivity for most of the trek

Journey Highlights

Concordia

Often called the 'Throne Room of the Mountain Gods' — the point where K2, Broad Peak, Gasherbrum IV, and Mitre Peak all converge in a single panorama.

K2 Base Camp

The final goal: the staging ground at the foot of the world's second-highest peak, reached after days of glacier walking.

Baltoro Glacier

One of the longest glaciers outside the polar regions, and the spine of the entire trek route.

Askole Village

The last permanent settlement before the wilderness, and the starting point of the trek proper.

Urdukas & Paiju Camps

Iconic high-altitude camping spots along the route, known for dramatic rock spires and glacier views.

Trango Towers Views

Some of the world's most striking granite spires, visible from multiple points along the trail.
